Police registered a murder case against the attack and began investigation. Tushar alias Ranu, son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Barwali Dhani, used to work at a store in the old vegetable market. In a preliminary investigation by Stone Peling police, it was revealed that the deceased went to the home of a young man who attacked with two of his companions. Tushar hacked stones at home.
