Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah will be on Bihar tour from October 16 to 18, holding a meeting with BJP leaders.

New -delhi, October 13 (IANS). Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Bihar from October 16 to 18. During this, he will address nomination meetings of NDA candidates and hold meetings with Bihar BJP leaders to strategize for the upcoming election. The NDA Alliance has decided that nominations of candidates will be held across Bihar from October 15 to 18. For this, the state is divided into different zones. Senior NDA leaders will be present in each district on the day of nomination. More than a dozen main ministers from different states and several union ministers will also participate in the nomination programs. NDA has prepared a detailed roadmap for intensive publicity and coordination of these four days. NDA decided to prefer the formula for the part of the seat for the Bihar meeting. Under the formula, BJP and JDU will dispute elections at 101-101 seats this time. At the same time, NDA allies received 41 seats. Among the allies, LJP (Ram Vilas) got 29 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (secular) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) each got 6 seats. This time, BJP and JDU dispute elections on equal number of seats. Earlier, in the 2020 election, JDU disputed 115 seats, BJP at 110 seats and other allies on 18 seats. In this election, BJP won 74 seats and JDU won 43 seats. Furthermore, the Allies managed to win 8 seats. In 2025, however, there was an equal distribution of 101-101 seats between BJP and JDU. With this change, it is clear that BJP is no longer a junior partner in Bihar politics. If it is believed that political experts are believed, this equal formula will give the message of equal partnership between the two parties on the election field. –Is MS/PSK Share these Story Tags
