Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, houses and crops suffered heavy damage. Raw homes suffered the most due to excess rainfall. Of these, partial damage to 7979 raw homes and 447 raw homes suffered complete damage. Similarly, partial damage to 208 Pucca houses and full damage to 20 Pucca houses. Crop damage was also deeply caused in the state, which revealed that crops were destroyed on 2390 hectares of land in Ranchi, Gumla, Lohardaga and Simdega districts within three months. The departmental secretary also informed at the meeting that the government is active in a relief. The government provided immediate funds for disaster relief in all districts. 57 Crore calls were given in the past financial year. So far, 44 crore calls have been provided in the current financial year. Dr Irfan Ansari will be given special training to two divers in each district, and said historical steps are taken to protect life and property due to drowning in water.
