Jakarta – PLN is again offering additional discounts on electric power of 50 percent in October 2025 to welcome the 80th National Electricity Day. This promotion is still valid from 17 October until the specified time limit. So how long will the October add-on discount promotion last? Quoting information from the official PLN account, the promotional period of 50% for additional electricity is valid from 17 to 30 October 2025. Terms and conditions apply The following terms and conditions apply: The program period takes place from 17-30 October 2025 and can only be participated via the PLN Mobile application. Program participants are single-phase low-voltage customers with an initial power of 450 VA to 5,500 VA who wish to add power up to a maximum of 7,700 VA, and who became active customers before October 1, 2025. 80,000 (4 vouchers @ IDR 20,000) for 50,000 customers The first to succeed in adding power. To obtain additional power discount e-coupons and electricity e-coupons, customers are required to perform at least one token purchase transaction or electricity bill payment via the PLN Mobile application. Electricity e-coupons can be used as a discount for the purchase of electricity vouchers or electricity bills. Electricity e-coupons will be received by customers after going through the PLN verification process. Startup e-coupons and electricity e-coupons can be obtained via the “Reward” menu in the PLN Mobile application. Each PLN Mobile account can only receive a maximum of 4 additional power discount e-coupons with a validity period of 30 October 2025 and 4 electricity e-coupons with an electricity e-coupon validity period of 28 February 2026. Each IDPEL can only participate in this program once during the promotional period. The additional power connection fee is paid in full in advance without installments, but the subscription guarantee (JL) for postpaid customers can be paid up to 12 times in installments. Customers are obliged to pay electricity bills and other obligations. The process of adding power is carried out without changing the tariff, type of service or number of customer phases. After realizing the additional power, customers cannot apply for a power reduction for 1 year, unless the customer has requested additional power with regular connection fees and a maximum power reduction equal to the final power during this program. For customers with pure L tariffs or special services (P3), the application process is carried out by the PLN service office. If the application is canceled or the e-voucher fails to be used, the e-voucher cannot be used again. This program cannot be combined with other promotions or additional power benefits. To participate, customers simply open the PLN Mobile app, then select the ‘Add Power’ menu and follow the steps provided.
