Mumbai, October 5 (IANS). Vinod Khanna was one of the selected stars of the Hindi cinema whose journey was very special and inspiring until he became a hero out of a negative role. He not only ruled the hearts of the audience with his brilliant performance, but also made a clear identity. Vinod Khanna started him as a villain in films, but his appearance and strong acting soon gave him the role of a hero. Vinod Khanna was born on October 6, 1946, in a Punjabi family in Peshawar (now Pakistan). During the division, the family later settled in India and settled in Mumbai. He has been interested in action since childhood. After completing his studies, he decided to make acting a career. Although his father was initially against it, he also agreed to see the daughter’s hard work and dedication and gave Vinod the opportunity to realize his dream. In 1968, Vinod Khanna achieved the first great success when he achieved the role of a villain in the movie ‘Man Ka Meet’. At the time, it was not easy to play a villain or a negative role in Hindi films, but Vinod made it his strength. Based on his brilliant appearance and expression, he also proved himself in a negative role. He then played the role of villain in many films and made his own place in the hearts of the audience. But it is also written to become a hero in his fate. Gradually, Vinod Khanna began to get the role of hero in films. In the film ‘Mere APNE’ of 1971, he was for the first time in the lead role, which led to a tremendous increase in his popularity.
