Parents poisoned their three children in Jodhpur, cut throat and then attempted suicide

In a tragic and disturbing incident in Jodhpur district Rajasthan, a couple allegedly poisoned, strangled their three children, and then cut their neck and wrist before committing suicide, police said on Tuesday. This shocking incident happened in the Kolu Pabuji village in Phalodi Tehsil on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, family members saw a dam of blood in the courtyard and immediately notified the authorities. All five family members were rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the children were pronounced dead while the parents underwent treatment, police said. Why did the couple take this step? According to the Phalodi superintendent of the Police (SP) Pooja Awana, there was a fight between Shivlal and his wife Jatano Devo on Monday night, which did this terrible act. The SP said the couple first poisoned their three children Harish (9), Kiran (5) and Nathu (3). Then they strangled the children, cut their veins with a blade and eventually cut her throat with a knife. The SP said that the couple tried to commit suicide after this heinous act by cutting their wrists. SP Awana, a bottle of empty poison, blade and knife, said that Shivlal’s brother’s wife saw blood outside the house on Tuesday morning and informed other family members notified police. “The police reached the place and found the accused man and woman unconscious. The courtyard of the house was soaked in blood. ‘ According to the police superintendent (SP), an empty bottle of poison, a blade and a knife from the scene were found. He informed that investigation was being investigated to connect the entire order of the incident. Other family members are questioned and an attempt is made to record their statements when the condition of the couple is stable. He said that the bodies of the children were sent to the morgue.
