Congress and other opposition parties deceive Muslims on Waqf Act: Ghulam Ali Khatana
New -Delhi, April 18 (IANS). Rajya Sabha -LP and veteran BJP leader Ghulam Ali Khatana targeted the opposition’s position on the WAQF (Amendment Act) on Friday. He has accused the leaders of opposition parties of being unnecessarily misleading people. The BJP MP, who refuses to comment on the High Court hearing over the Waqf (Amendment Act), said: “The congress and opposition parties are trying to mislead Muslims. They want to keep Muslims like a voting bank.” Khatana said: “Most of the same people are locating and encouraging the Amanat of WAQF. I appeal to all Muslims that WAQF should be a large institution, it must be believed. It should not be the words of opposition parties. Today Muslims want to contribute to the progress of the country, but the opposition wants to use it as a voter.” BJP -LP said: “Mamata Banerjee or other leader on the opposition parties, they want to encourage people by making political statements,” they themselves know that the law made in parliament is applied in every country of the country. Banerjee is close to the people who died in the violence there, they cannot keep themselves clean. “-Ians Sch/Ekd shares this story tags
