Nuggets Aaron Gordon available for Game 7 vs. Thunder

Denver forward Aaron Gordon was listed on the morning injury report as questionable for Sunday’s match 7 of the Western Conference semifinal against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but early Sunday afternoon the Nuggets officially declared him available for the match. ESPN reported that Gordon would probably not play in the away game due to a left hypocrisy. But Gordon participated in Warmups on Sunday and was able to retain his usual place in the starting line -up by reporting the Denver Post. How long Gordon will be able to play has yet to be seen. ESPN called Gordon’s injury as a Grade 2 hypocrisy stem, which described the injury as a few weeks for recovery. He left Game 6 with the injury late on Thursday in the fourth quarter. Gordon, 29, is in his fifth season with the Nuggets and was a key player in their 2022-23 NBA championship team. In 13 play -offs this season, he is on average 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists over 38.2 minutes per game. He was limited to 51 games in the usual season due to a tense right calf and a sprained left ankle. After Gordon had a breakthrough in Denver on Saturday, interim coach David Adelman said no decisions were made about his availability. “I’m sure the hoops (to jump through) are probably smaller because the game arrives so quickly,” he said. “It’s not a thing where he has three weeks to go through it. It is likely to be his comfort, along with the council’s advice on what he can and cannot do. ‘ If they say he is available, he will start. ‘Gordon hit two match winners this post-season: a dunk in the opening round against the Los Angeles Clippers and a 3-point in the closure of seconds to win 1 against the top-colored dollar. With 27 seconds left in the Game 3 regulation against Oklahoma City, the fourth sowed nuggets sent to overtime-a match they won 113-104. If likely, it is also available.
