Meanwhile, the South Korean car manufacturer stopped the entry-level N8 variant with a manual transmission of the Creta N line portfolio. The manual transmission is now only available on the N10 finish, priced at £ 19.02 lakh (ex-showroom), lower than the previous price of £ 19.53 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, with the discontinuity of the N8 MT finish of the Creta N line, the DCT version of the SUV became more affordable than the manual transmission equipped. Last month, the GST Council reviewed the tax structures for many goods and services. In terms of the GST 2.0 regime, the passenger vehicles are now drawing an 18% GST, off the incidence of 28% GST. The GST Council also abolished the compensation chess on passenger vehicles. With this, the cars in India have become cheaper in different segments, due to a reduced total tax appearance.
