On Instructions of the India Electoral Commission (ECI), the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand (CEO) KK Ravi Kumar announced to five major political parties of the state. This notice was issued against the parties facing the allegations of violating the election code. Chief election officer KK Ravi Kumar said it is mandatory for all parties to follow the election code for the upcoming meeting and other elections in the state. However, it was violated by several parties, which issued the notice to them. It is said that this notice was issued to parties that were included in public places without permission, or used illegal or offensive material in their promotional material. In addition, some parties are also accused of abusing government resources in their publicity, which can affect the fairness of the election process. The Electoral Commission has ordered these parties to respond within 7 days. After this, if the commission does not get satisfaction with the answer of these parties, strict steps can be taken. The election atmosphere in the state is heated and the incidents of violating the election code have also increased as competition between political parties increases. This step of the Electoral Commission is important to ensure that the election process remains fair and transparent. The Electoral Commission is strict to follow the code of conduct among political parties, and this action is considered an important step towards the peaceful and smooth operation of the coming election in the state.
