Former Vice President Osinbajo's brother, Akin, denies involvement in the N15 million fuel supply scandal as claimed by businessman

Gordon told Saharan Porters on Wednesday that he had made repayment payments from January 3, 2025. A pastor of the past Christian Church of God, Pastor Tayo Askuns Balogun, was accused of a businessman, Mr. Gordon Ohenemuero, of ₦ 15,120,000 in a failed agreement to 15,000 liters of Automotive gas oil, cheated) diesel. Gordon told Saharan Porters on Wednesday that he made payments payments on January 3, 2025. His last payment of ₦ 5 million was completed on 31 January 2025, allegedly to Akin Osinbajo’s intervention and delivery insurance. Gordon said he was introduced by a friend to Tayo of Kashamu Global Nigeria Limited. According to Gordon, Tayo claimed to be in the petroleum product marketing business and agreed to provide credit ago, with the balance to be paid in installments. Meanwhile, a senior lawyer from Nigeria (San), Akin Osinbajo, denied being a shareholder in Kasamu Global Nigeria Limited or was involved in an alleged fraud involving the sum of ₦ 15,120,000. The allegation, which by a businessman, Mr. Gordon Ohenemuero, made, claims to be cheated in a failed agreement to deliver 15,000 liters of car oil (ago), commonly known as diesel. Osinbajo, a brother of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, spoke to Saharara Porters on Friday and rejected the claims as unfounded and malicious. “Some people just try to destroy the lives of other people,” he said. “I don’t know Mr. Gordon Ohenemuero or Mr. Tayo Adecunal Balogun from anywhere. I’ve never met them in my life. ‘ He said: “I am a senior proponent of Nigeria with almost 40 years of legal practice. I am a lifespan Bencher and come from a trusted family. I served as the Attorney General of the Ogun State for eight years, making me the longest serving attorney general in the history of the state.” Osinbajo said he was a shareholder in the company concerned, saying: “A simple online search will confirm that I am not a shareholder in such a company. I have no ties with them. ‘ He questioned the pleasure of the allegations: “Would I, a senior advocate of Nigeria, be involved in a diesel transaction worth ₦ 15 million? I don’t live in Lagos. I represent multinational companies such as Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola International. Why would I make use to sell diesel?” “I’m over 65 years old. I’m not a little boy. I don’t want to boast, but I have built a long -standing reputation in the legal profession. The biggest diesel trader in Nigeria is my personal friend-if I wanted to be in that business, I wouldn’t have to go through channels, ‘he added. Osinbajo maintained that the claims were not only false but also defamatory, and said he was considering legal action to protect his name and integrity. On January 3, Gordon made an initial payment and expects the product to be delivered to its website in Ikorodu within a few days. However, the delivery never took place. By Sunday of that week, Tayo put him under pressure to pay the full amount, which immediately released the product. Gordon said he had unwillingly fulfilled and transferred the full amount, but the product still did not show up. Later, Tayo informed him that a 45,000-liter truck was loaded into the satellite village, Lagos, with three compartments of 15,000 liters each. On the way, however, the truck allegedly experienced problems, causing further delays. Eventually, Tayo claims that the truck was seized. Gordon said Tayo later told him that Akin Osinbajo intervened, showing him alleged communication in which he proposed himself as the biggest investor of the company. Meanwhile, Tayo Gordon ensured that the delay was due to internal disagreements among the partners of the company. Tayo then asked for full payment and promised an extra 5000 liters as compensation. Gordon feels in the corner and completes the payment of 15 million. However, his truck was never loaded. “At one point, the suppliers suggested sending an alternative product from the Delta state and demanded an additional ₦ 1.5 million for logistics. Gordon refused, as the agreement in Lagos delivered.” At this point, I concluded that it was fair fraud. Why would anyone of Akin’s stature allow his name to be dragged through the mud over ₦ 15 million? “Later, Tayo sent me another message on behalf of Akin and asked me to send an extra ₦ 1.5 million for unbundling. That was after they had previously told me that they would cover logistics. It confirmed my suspicion that it was a scam. I refused to send more money,” Gordon said. Frustrated Gordon has the office of Abdulai, Taiwo & Co. -Right firm in Maryland, Lagos, visit, where Akin Osinbajo is a partner. He said he filed a formal complaint, but Osinbajo never answered. “Tayo continued to tell me that, no matter where I took the case to the police or the courts, they had advocates who would handle it,” Gordon said. Eventually, the businessman concluded that he was cheated. “If you raise money for a product and do not deliver, then refuse to repay, it’s fraud,” he added. Gordon also pointed out that the irony that Tayo serves as a minister in the redeemed Christian church of God and is now considering reporting the matter to the church headquarters. He provided details of the bank accounts where he transferred the funds: Emmanuel Moses account number: 3758349266 (Fairmoney), Folashade Latifat – Account Number: 6117692656 (Opay), and adkunal Balogun – Account Number: 5010240760 (Fustivity Bank). Despite multiple claims, he must not receive a refund yet. “They took my money, did not deliver the product, refused to issue a refund and now use intimidation tactics,” he said. Then Sahara Porters to Mr. Outreach Tayo Adecunal Balogun, he confirmed that Mr. Gordon paid a payment of 15,120,000. However, he said the delivery of the product has been delayed since January due to certain challenges. Tayo said: “As for Mr. Gordon’s deal, yes, he bought the product from us. We tried to provide it, but due to certain challenges there was a delay. Initially, the funds he transferred were not reflected quickly, affecting our supply chain.” In addition, there was a problem with the truck that meant the product. We later agreed to provide him with 15,000 liters, and our company even instructed us to deliver 88,000 liters instead. “Tayo initially told Saharan Porters that the truck that delivered the product to Gordon had problems, which led to a delay. If we loaded the product. Oil and gas transactions need logistics coordination, and it’s not a one-person operation, ‘he said. Tayo argued that Mr. Akin Osinbajo never communicated directly with Gordon on the issue. ‘ As Mr. Gordon otherwise claims, he must provide proof of a direct conversation between him and Mr. Osinbajo, ‘he said. If asked to pay a truck. We have the product, but he must fulfill his part of logistics. If he does, we will continue with the delivery. “Tayo told Saharan Porters that someone who is familiar with the oil and gas industry knows that repayments are not issued to customers, and that no police or security agency would now be arrested in the world about a failed product supply. I know your boss, and I will inform him.
