Dehradun, June 6 (IANS). The Minister of Agriculture, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, attended Kisan Chaupal on Friday in the village of Pavwala Sauda under DOIWALA block of Dehradun. He sat on the bed in the middle of the fields and perished with the farmers and understood the ground level problems. During this, he also planted trees under the ‘I Tree Mother’s Name’ campaign. Senior Agriculture Division officials were also present at the event and senior agricultural division officials. In Chaupal, farmers talked about seeds, irrigation, marketing, crop insurance scheme and fair price of agricultural products. Lychee, Basmati -Price, Jackfruit and vegetable evils also shared their problems and suggested for solution. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the Government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to doubling the revenue of farmers and realizing the vision of ‘developed India’. I am from a Boer family, I know the pain of the farmer. For this reason, today I come directly to the field and sit on the bed so I can know if the benefits of the government’s schemes reach the land or not. The direct dialogue with farmers ensures their strong participation. During this, Union Minister Shivraj Singh instructed officials to ensure a time -bound solution to the problems mentioned by the Boers. He said that the central and state governments will jointly make Uttarakhand a national center of horticulture (horticulture). The quality of fruits, grains and vegetables of Uttarakhand is unique and has the full potential to give a global recognition. Union Minister Shivraj Singh said with the media that the spirit, intellect and soul are filled with a new energy. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government is doing an excellent work in the field of farming. The Government of India, along with the Uttarakhand government, will ensure that farmers here not only get the benefit of modern agricultural techniques, but also that the national and international markets are available for their products.
