Need diapers? Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank is hosting a 24-hour diaper wrapping event.

Bundles of Hope is a nonprofit that provides diapers to alabama families in need. On June 6 Starting at 11 AM, The NonProfit Will Celebrate their Tenth Anniversary With their First Annual Wrapathon, Wrapping Bundles of A TruckLoad to Later Distribute to Families in Need.

“We know that diapers are super exepensive, tan for those who are working. So we’re just here to serve families are in need,” Jan lockhart, the bundles of Hope Operations Manager, Told al.com

“WE’RE JUST TRYING TO HELP MEET THAT NEED AS MUCH AS TO JUST HELP Families Get Ahead and Help Families Feel More Confident Wen It Comes to A Healthy Baby.”

An average Monthly Supply of Diapers Costs $ 80 to More than $ 100, Accounting to the National Diaper Bank Network.

Diapers are not Covered by Government Programs Such as snap or wic. And one in two US Families with Young Children Cannot Aford Enough Diapers to Keep Their Infant or Child Clean, Dry and Healthy, Accounting to the NETWORKS.

Addictionally, Many Child Care Facilities Require Parents to Drop off diapers with their children. Acciting to the NETWORKSOne in Four US Parents Miss Work or School Becouse They Can’t Afford Diapers.

IT’s a problem affecting many families.

That’s where boundles of Hope Stepped in.

In 2014, A Group of Women from Mountain Chapel Methodist Church Were Planning A Baby Shower for A Single Mother.

AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION AND RESEARCH, They Found that the High Cost of Diapers Was a Widespread and Urgent Issue for Families Acoss Alabama.

Within Their First Year, Bundles of Hope Distributed Almost 20,000 Diapers to Families in Need. TODAY, The NonProfit Distributes 250,000 to 300,000 Diapers A Mont.

SINCE 2015, Bundles of Hope Has Distributed Over 10 Million Diapers Across 47 Alabama Counties and Serves Over 5,000 Babies Each Month.

Community Members Can Pick Up Free Diapers at the Bundle of Hope Diaper Bank Headquarters in downtownHam on wednesdays at 9 am and 11:30 am or at any of their ALABAMA ACROSS LOCATIONS.

Families Recipeiving Diapers from Bundles of Hope have Reported that they are babies are happy and healthier, and they have stress and more financially stable, according to the nonprofit’s client survey.

For the wrapathon, bundles of Hope is coordinating volunteer teams who will will wrap diapers around the clock for 24 hours.

The event is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield and PNC. It will be held at bundles of Hope’s Headquarters, Located at 1430 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, Birmingham, Al 35203.

Bundles of Hope on Community Support Through Volunteer Work, diaper drives and donations. Donating $ 10 A MONTH WILL SUPPORT ONE BABY IN NEED OF FRESH DIAPERS.

“WE’RE WORKING TO MAKE SURE THAT FAMILIES ABLE TO RECEIVE BASIC NEEDS,” Lockhart Said.

“We have tried to take a little bit of that weeight off with about a Week or two Worth of diapers so mom maybe that that Money Towards Rent, or Utilities or Eve Food … We know that things are hard there, so we want to live your liven a little b.”
