Currently, 400 small electric buses are driving in Delhi. The transport department issued two orders within eight days to change the color of the buses. In this regard, the first order on the approval of the Minister of Transport, Dr. Pankaj Singh, released on May 14, talking about changing color, but there was no information about color. But sources say that the color of these buses was earlier a matter of orange like the non -A -Busse of DMTs, but later on May 19, the second order was released on May 19 in which it was decided to keep these buses in three colors. A total of 2080 buses will fall under the scheme, a government official from Delhi said that the model will be made available for the new color of these buses soon. After receiving the approval, 400 nine meters of buses will be painted in these colors. Apart from this, regardless of the nine meter e-buses, it will be three colors- green, orange and yellow.
