Business Engagement Private Sector Participation Mandatory for Sustainable Startups and the Economic Growth of the Country: Jitendra Singh

Jammu, September 21 (IANS). The Minister of Union, Dr. Jitendra Singh, attended the ‘Lead Impact Conclave’ on Sunday. He said that the importance of involvement in the industry and private sectors told the event that both are compulsory for sustainable startups and the sustainable economic growth of India. During this, he emphasized the schemes and achievements of the central government. Dr. Jitendra Singh, who addresses the ‘Lead Impact -Conclave’, said that the government created a competent environment on his behalf, in which the work is being done to promote the startups with the industry to promote their businesses and take the Indian economy forward. He said that startups emerged as an attractive and durable food. Dr Singh said India is third in the world with 1 Lakh 70 thousand companies. He underlined that approximately 60 thousand companies were run by women who became successful agriculture entrepreneurs. The minister said the press Revolution, which started from Jammu and Kashmir, is a good example of the success of agriculture. He informed that states such as Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh took inspiration from this revolution and began to grow on a large scale, which made the youth free from the mentality of government opportunities and an alternative and sustainable livelihood. He said that the youth associated with startups earn millions of rupes and also create jobs for others. The Union Minister has informed that 50 percent Startups Tier-2 and Tier-3 are in cities and towns such as Surat, Vijayawada, Kanpur, etc. Dr. Jitendra Singh said the government had launched schemes such as Mudra Yojana, PM Swanidhi Yojana and Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana in business. He told the government that the government also promoted Khadi products under ‘Vocal for Local’. He requested the Conclave participants to utilize different schemes and programs to encourage production, sales and employment. Dr Singh has also called for organizing workshops in rural areas, so that more and more people can spread awareness about these schemes and utilize them. He emphasized the need for cooperation in future areas between industrial and educational institutions. He advocated research on futuristic topics that were relevant in the coming years. He said the next revolution will be bio-management. Bio-fuel and genetically modified crops such as bioproducts will become a major contributor to the economy and make India self-sufficient. He said the world expects leadership of India in the coming time. The minister said that when India completed 100 years of its independence in 2027, the youth of the country would lead a developed India.
