Dubai, October 22 (IANS). India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top of the ICC men’s Test bowlers’ rankings. Afghan spinner Rashid Khan remains at the top of this list. Meanwhile, Bumrah’s lead at the top of the Test rankings has dwindled. Now Pakistan’s Nauman Ali is just 29 points behind him, who achieved the new highest rating of his career after his brilliant performance in Lahore. Nauman Ali reached the second position with a jump of four places. Nauman took 10 wickets in Pakistan’s 93-run win against South Africa. His teammate Shaheen Afridi also moved up three places to the 19th position after taking four wickets in the second innings of the same Test. Among Pakistan batsmen, Mohammad Rizwan moved up four places to 16th, while Babar Azam moved up two places to 22nd. Meanwhile, Salman Aga climbed 8 places to reach the 30th position. In the South African camp, Ryan Rickelton entered the top 50 for the first time after scoring 71 in the first innings of the first Test against Pakistan, while Tony de Jorzi’s century took him to 54th position. Australia’s stand-in captain Mitchell Marsh has moved up two places to 42nd in the ODI rankings after his ‘Player of the Match’ performance against India in Perth. Australian fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc have also moved up to 10th and 21st respectively in the ODI bowler rankings.
