She comes from the Alirajpur district – which has the ‘lowest literacy rate in India’. ‘Mantra of Success’ during the ‘Mantra or Success’ program organized by the Madhya Pradesh government, Radhika – who secured the 18th rank in the public service exam – shared that she was allocated to the Indian Railways in her first attempt. However, she always dreamed of becoming an IAS officer. She was determined to achieve her goal and continued to study while working and eventually passed in the 2020 exam for the public service. “The district from which I come has the lowest literacy rate, but it played an important role in shaping my personality. It became my greatest source of inspiration. Living there helped me realize the tremendous value of education in one’s life. I learned very important life lessons. This investigation taught my patience and perseverance,” Radhika said. “After completing her engineering degree, Radhika studied 9-10 hours a day,” Radhika started working with a corporate firm in Delhi. This is where she realizes her dream to become an IAS officer. During her work, she learned about the coaching system in Rajendra Nagar. After understanding the entire curriculum, she left her job and returned to Indore for preparation. “Since attending Jee coaching in Kota, I was familiar with the coaching system, which is why I decided to stay away from Rajendra Nagar’s coaching culture. I studied for 9-10 hours daily, followed a strict timetable and stayed away from social media. However, I made sure to play table tennis because it is my passion. Job. That’s why I didn’t even fill in any other government applications, ‘Radhika said. Radhika pursued mechanical engineering of SGSits Indore and chose anthropology as her optional topic for the UPSC exam.
