The South Korean company “Samsung” also sent representatives to the Golf State to discuss the establishment of new major operations there, according to other people familiar with the company’s strategy. The newspaper said these talks are still in their first phases, and that the planned projects may not be achieved due to technical challenges and other obstacles, as it also indicated that the costs associated with completing the factories studied are more than $ 100 billion. Samsung refused to comment, while TSMC in a statement sent via email explains that it focuses on global expansion during the current period, and that he has no new investment plans to disclose it now. The Taiwanese chips manufacturer is currently building new facilities in the United States, Japan and Germany.
