This facility will be connected to digital technology, where the time will be recorded and the position of the train will be known by means of GPS. This scheme has been prepared under the supervision of the General Manager of NKR. The detailed proposal was approved at the headquarters level. The first phase of Magh Mela will begin before 2026, when thousands of pilgrims will visit Prayagraj. It will start with major trains like Prayagraj Express, Humsafar Express and Sangam Express. Each coach will have numbers. Then it will gradually spread in all the trains of all the divisions of NCR – Prayagraj, Agra, Jhansi etc. General Manager Naresh Pal Singh says that this will increase the confidence of passengers and improve discipline.
