American Economist told Trump's decision to put tariff on India, foolish, the US president has been reprimanding many

Leading economist Jeffrey Sachs described the tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump on India as foolish and said that there was no benefit from it. Sachs has described Trump as confusing, saying that the US has been using its dominance power for so long that it feels like it can order every part of the world. Sachs told the news agency Ani: “It means nothing. It’s not true. It’s failing. Overloading the tariff on India is in any way foolish. There is no benefit from it.” He said Trump hates the Brics squad because these countries stand before America and say Washington does not run the world. The economist added: “Everything associated with rates is wrong. It is disastrous for the US economy. It is contrary to international law. This is a decline in our political system. In America, Trump’s policy will certainly fail.” According to Jeffrey Sachs, India should not rely on the US and he should not accept that New -Delhi can replace China in the global price chain. He described China, Russia and Brazil as the ‘real partner’ of India. Jeffrey Sachs first described Donald Trump’s rate as “unconstitutional”. He warned earlier that India would have no security benefits associated with the support of America. Sachs’ statement comes during a Podcast session with Hindustan Times, when US President Donald Trump imposed 50 percent tariff on India imports due to the purchase of Russian oil in New -Delhi. According to The Economist, American politicians do not care for India. He said: “US politicians don’t care about India at all. Please understand it. If they support America against China, it won’t give India’s long -term safety. India is a superpower that has an independent position in the world. What does on Trump tariff is unconstitutional.” Share this story -tags
