The 8th national conference of ‘Rosie Roti and Adhikar Abhiyan’ will be held in Jaipur from May 24 to 26. Other issues, including food security, hunger and nutritional status, will be discussed in the three -day conference. More than 500 workers from 16 states of the country, including social activist Aruna Roy, will participate in it. The conference discusses the movement strategies for the next two years. The convener of conference Kavita Srivastava said: “The conference will be kept on the premises of Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society. The conference will discuss the diminishing opportunities of collective action on various issues, including agriculture and rural economy, high unemployment and uncertain livelihood.” The need to strengthen democracy will also be discussed.
