This is the first time in the history of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) that the number of posts four and a half times from the release of the PCS ad increased four and a half times from the release of the PCS ad. Apart from this, 16 posts of assistant division transport officer, 22 posts of treasurer/accountant, 2 posts from the District Commandant Home, 1 Post of the Prison Superintendent, 18 posts of Assistant Commissioner Industry, 23 posts of the Panchayati Raj Division, 23 posts of the Executive Officer, District Welfare Officer/District Social Wile Officer (Development). At the same time, PCS-2024 contains one post of District Minority Welfare Officer, five posts of district-trigger welfare officer, two posts of district food and marketing officer, one post of assistant director industry (handloma), three posts of statistical officer in the Agricultural Division, one position of administrative officer in the state property, 16 posts of the assistant of the assistant of the Assistant Controller Controller in Legal Metrology Department Legal Metrology Division. The proposal of PCS-2024, which begins from June 29, will be held on June 29, 2025. The commission released the advertisement for recruitment of 220 posts of PCs on January 1, 2024. 5,76,154 applications were received for recruitment, but due to a limited number of subjects, the competition increased and its impact was seen on the preliminary investigation. Only 42 percent of the candidates appeared in the preliminary exam held on December 22, 2024. According to the statement of the results of the preliminary exam, however, the number of posts increased to 947.
