Sambalpur (Odisha), May 19 (IANS). There are reports of two heartbreaking murders from the Sambalpur district Odisha. In these two different cases, the murder was talked about by family members. The first incident is from the village of Village or Edithol police station, where a woman killed her son. According to police sources, the woman strangled her older son, Badal Pradhan, with the help of her younger son and three daughters. It is said that this murder is being done due to domestic disputes. After the murder, the family buried the body of Badal in a four foot deep pit near the house and put the ground on top. When the people in the area began to get smell in the area, they informed the police. The editorial police reached the place and took out the body and sent it to the postmortem. Interrogated was also started by keeping mother, son and all three daughters. Police are investigating the matter thoroughly. The second incident is from Govindpur Village under the Bamra police station. Here, a woman was allegedly murdered by her younger brother Golak Sahu and older sister Pushpanjali Sahu. Mena returned home to participate in a religious program after the death of her father. Meanwhile, there was a sharp dispute between the brother and sister about the distribution of property. When Mena claimed her interest, she was attacked and killed with a knife. Police and forensic teams reached the place and started investigating. Sambalpur superintendent of police, Mukesh Kumar Bhamu, both confirmed cases. He said the murder of Mena Sahu in Govindpur is the result of a dispute of family property. The younger brother and older sister conspired and performed this incident. As for the incident of Redachhol, he said Badal was used to alcohol and often assaulted his mother and sisters.
