This prestigious museum will soon include the historic revolver of the Rungta family related to Chaibasa in Jharkhand. This revolver is not only historically important, but also has an emotional bond with the country’s freedom struggle and security history. This BSF Museum already has a collection of weapons used in many rare, historical and wars. It contains swords, guns, guns and modern guns as well as weapons of foreign origin. According to sources, this revolver is from the British period, used by the ancestors of the Rungta family during self -defense and social service. This weapon is now being assigned for public action in the museum. This revolver will not only improve the beauty of our museum, but will also show the sense of patriotism, courage and responsibility.” Rungta family members said at the event: “This revolver was the legacy of our family, but now it must be located in the museum, where it can become a source of inspiration for the countrymen.” It is said that this revolver will be formally assigned to the BSF Museum in a special ceremony next month.
