India submitted a proposal to host 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad

London, September 23 (IANS). India formally presented its proposal today to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games in front of the Commonwealth Games Assessment Committee in London. The Indian Party was led by the Minister of Sports, Harsh Sanghvi of the Gujarat government and Dr. PT Usha, chairman of the Assessment Committee in India. Hari Ranjan Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport, the Government of India, Ashwini Kumar, General Secretary, Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities, the Government of Gujarat, Banch Nidhi Pani, Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Raghuram Iyer, CEO, Indian Commonwealth Sports Association, Lt Gen, Harcepal, Singh, Executive Councilor, Commonwealth members, Commery Management Member, Har Councilor Commercial Management Member, India’s committee committee, India Assessment Committee in India. He was also part of the team offered on behalf of India. The 2030 has historical importance. It symbolizes the completion of 100 years of the Commonwealth Games movement. India has proposed Ahmedabad as a host city for this century issue. The city will provide intensive sports rooms, centered at international level, strong transport systems and high quality homes. According to the principles for the recovery of the game, this proposal emphasizes power, inclusion, flexibility and stability. It is committed to the integration of para-portes, the preservation of human rights, the promotion of gender equality and the establishment of a long-term heritage structure, which ensures that benefits move beyond sports to reach athletes, communities and comprehensive Commonwealth. The success of the ICC Cricket World Cup, Indian Premier League and 2022 national matches such as the host city of Ahmedabad further strengthen the candidacy of India. The city will also host Asian Aquatics 2025, Asian weightlifting championships 2026, World Police and Fire Games 2029 and many other multi-and-single sports events, which will increase the operating experience by 2030.
