India United on 'Operation Sindoor', Strategy to Isolate Pakistan: Samik Bhattacharya
Kolkata, May 18 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha -LP Samik Bhattacharya called “Operation Sindoor” as an important performance of India, saying that its purpose is to isolate Pakistan worldwide and to put India’s strong terrorist policy before the world. Samik Bhattacharya said Pakistan became the center of terrorism, which constantly threatened India’s borders. In this situation, ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a symbol of India’s decisive action against terrorism. Terrorism is a disease that must be flourished before it, otherwise it will destroy us. Through “Operation Sindoor”, India has shown the world how serious we are against terrorism. Our goal is to isolate Pakistan of the international community and for this it is necessary to make all countries aware of the situation in India. This action was compulsory for the sovereignty and safety of the country. He said that during the meeting of all parties, all political parties said the same as they were with the government. Now the representatives of all political parties are going to “Operation Sindoor” to all the countries of the world and is ready to benefit India on world forums. In such a situation, the attitude of the congress part is wrong. Congress must forget its old history and show Solidarity in the national interest. If the congress makes divisive statements, it will be headlines for the Pakistani media. We do not want any political gap in such a situation. Bhattacharya praised the congress member of parliament Shashi Tharoor, who took a clear stance against terrorism and supported “Operation Sindoor”. He said: “Shashi Tharoor’s attitude against terrorism is clear. Congress does not have to decide who to respect. The people of the country understood the attitude of Congress very well.” He called on the public to unite in the interests of the country and remind the congress of his responsibility. Let us tell you that India under ‘Operation Sindoor’ carried out accurate attacks on terrorists bases in Pakistan and Pok on May 7, 2025 and killed more than 100 terrorists. This action of the army was in response to the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 citizens died. -Ians Aks/Aques Share This Story -Tags
