Indigo ordered 30 additional broad bodies A350 aircraft to Airbus

New -delhi, June 1 (IANS). Indigo, the country’s largest airline business, announced an agreement with Airbus, an aircraft manufacturing company, on Sunday. Below are 30 aircraft from the purchase rights of 70 aircraft converted into Pucca orders. This is another step towards defining the long -term airline plans for international expansion. Indigo CEO Peter Albers said in a briefing in the national capital that the company is doing a fixed order for 30 Airbus A350-900. He said the company now ordered 30 aircraft from the 70 aircraft option. Last year, Indigo decided to include widebody aircraft in its fleet by making a fixed order for 30 A350-900 aircraft. In addition, the purchase rights of 70 additional aircraft were also taken. The original order delivery is expected to begin in 2027. Indigo CEO said the company would continue to include a plane per week to double the size of its fleet by the end of this decade. The move will help Indigo to further expand its international long -ranking networks, allowing Indian metros to be to different parts of the world. Indigo said in his statement that it will offer more options for clients to travel to new international places, as well as more flights to the Hubs of Partner Airlines. Indigo’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft has a Trent XWB engine of Rolls Royce. At a time when the business entered the next phase of its beautiful journey to meet the rapidly changing needs of the Indian market, the missionary capacity of the aircraft and the efficiency of the Trent XWB engine will provide unprecedented options and access to Indigo. Inigo prepared for their long -distance flights in March 2025 and included six rented aircraft for which delivery would be completed by 2026.
