In response to the research results, Indonesian Presidential Studies (IPS) research director Arman Salam assessed that there were four ministers from the top 10 ministries who played an important role in the successful implementation of the Asta Cita program. “They are the main engine in maintaining economic stability, food, education and bureaucracy, and are also a measure for the performance of the Red and White Cabinet in the first year of Prabowo-Gibran’s leadership,” he said in a written statement, Sunday (19/10/2025). Purbaya has also received public appreciation thanks to his straightforward and pro-people communication style. Second, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, who focuses on food self-sufficiency programs, stabilizing agricultural product prices and strengthening national food security. Arman believes that Amran is known as a firm, clean and capable figure to face challenges in the food sector. Third, the Minister of the Interior, Tito Karnavian, is said to play the role of ‘bureaucratic commander’ overseeing regional government, the control of inflation, as well as public housing programs and health services such as the eradication of TB and the PPDS specialist doctor program at RSUD. Fourth, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, who is considered successful in improving the quality of primary and secondary education to support the target of a Golden Indonesia 2045. Despite this, Arman believes that the national education system still needs to be improved to reach global standards. Furthermore, he reminded that the Red and White Cabinet’s challenges will become more and more difficult in the future. He emphasized the importance of support from all civil servants at all levels so that the president’s program runs optimally. “No one should give room to oligarchs who want to fish in murky waters. Firmness from the president and law enforcement is currently required to be extra for a more advanced and prosperous Indonesia,” he concluded. For information, the IndoStrategi survey was conducted from early September to 13 October 2025, involving 424 respondents from 34 provinces. Respondents were purposively selected, consisting of activists, teachers, lecturers, permanent employees, entrepreneurs and masters/doctoral students.
