Israel catches morag -as, an important Gaza course; Mass -of -the -bodies ordered | Today news
Israel announced on Saturday (April 12) that its army has completed the takeover of a new security corridor, known as the ‘Morag -As’, which cuts over Gaza between southern cities Rafah and Khan Yunis. Defense Minister Israel Katz said this move effectively links the Philadelphi route along the Egyptian border to Morag, creating a greater Israeli-controlled “safety zone”. Katz added that the military would “strengthen and expand” the operations in most of Gaza, and warned residents to vacate combat zones. With the expansion of evacuation orders as part of the extensive offensive, Israel has issued a fatty evacuation order for tens of thousands of Palestinians living in and around Khan Yunis. The military said the move came from the area after rocket fire, which had retaliation. The United Nations expressed concern about the expanding evacuation orders, saying it leads to the “coercive transfer” of Palestinians in smaller and poet areas. Hamas Reaction and Cairo talks Hamas condemned the offensive as one who killed “defenseless civilians” and jeopardized the safety of Israeli hostages still in captivity. A Hamas official said the group hoped for “real progress” during new ceasefire discussions with Egyptian mediators in Cairo. Although no new ceasefire proposal was officially received by Hamas, the discussions were continued. Media reports suggested that Egypt proposed an agreement with the release of eight living hostages and eight bodies in exchange for a 40-70 days and a great release of the prisoner. The high civilian toll and aid blockade Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that at least 1,563 Palestinians had died since Israel resumed on March 18, bringing the total death toll to more than 50,900 since the start of the war. The ministry noted that most of the victims are women and children. Israel maintained a blockade on help in Gaza for more than a month and argued that sufficient supplies were enrolled during the last ceasefire. Assistance organizations have disputed this allegation, warning of serious food, fuel and medicine shortages. Strategic ground attacks The Morag Corridor is in line with other key areas under Israeli control, including the Philadelphi and Netzarim course. Together with extensive buffer zones, this Israel gives control of more than 50% of Gaza area. The Rafah municipality called the Israeli actions a ‘blatant violation of international legitimacy’, while human rights groups warned that Israel’s proposal for ‘voluntary’ relocation of Palestinians could amount to ethnic cleaning. According to Gaza’s health minister, the victims of the victims continued. Meanwhile, Israeli officials claim that they killed about 20,000 militants during the war. With both sides entering, the humanitarian situation remains backwards, as the hope of a ceasefire remains uncertain despite constant talks in Cairo.
