Instructions given to assess the damage caused by rain: Minister Irfan Ansari

Ranchi, June 20 (IANS). The heavy rain in Jharkhand over the past three days has caused a lot of destruction. Between the warnings of the meteorological department, strong winds and rain in districts such as Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga, Simdega, Gumla, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Saraikela affected life. Dr. Health Minister Irfan Ansari has announced compensation for victims’ families in a conversation with reporters. He said that the deputy commissioners of all districts were given instructions to assess the damage caused by rain. The loss was revised at a high -level meeting, which includes the general secretary and other officials. In many places, houses collapsed, destroyed crops and weakened on the roads. He said the government was immediately taking steps to help the people involved. There is no shortage of money and all possible help will be provided. Seven people were killed due to rain and thunderstorms. Music teachers from a DPS school in Ranchi are missing, whose search is. He called on the people not to get out of the house in bad weather and staying away from areas with weakening. The amount of the remuneration has not yet been clarified, but the government has assured help to the victims’ families. The minister repeated the commitment to improving health services. He informed that Hemant Soren, chief minister, accepted a proposal for the first time to draw up AIDS Treatment Center (Art Center) in Jharkhand. This center will provide free medicine and counseling facilities for AIDS victims. He said that this center would increase the morale of the patients and that they would believe that the treatment of every disease is possible. This center will not only provide treatment, but will also help to strengthen patients spiritually. Earlier, the funds received from the central government were not used properly, which did not give patients relief. Now patients will be provided better facilities by this center. The foundation stone will be soon. Dr. Ansari talked about the further strengthening of Rims Hospital in Ranchi. He said that rims are not only for the rich, but also for the poor, tribes and Dalites. Hotels, shopping malls and other businesses will be promoted in the surrounding areas so that the residents can become financially self -sufficient. The government will help tribes and Dalits to start matters by giving subsidy. He said that the area around rims will become the center of economic development, which will enrich residents. Dr. Ansari, referring to the state level program to be held during the International Yoga Day on June 21, said yoga belongs to not one party, but of everything. Earlier, he accused the BJP of hijacking it on yoga, but now he as a minister invites everyone to join. He invited ministers, MLAs, business people and media.
