IMD Red Alert for flooding in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, other states also affected

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red warning on Tuesday afternoon for some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and some districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The weather agency made the possibility of hurting heavy rain (more than 15 mm/hour) and thunderstorms in these areas. This warning was issued at 14:00. Red Alert was released in the following districts: Jammu and Kashmir: Poonch, Mirpur, Rajouri, Kulgam, Reasi, Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Kishtwar, Udhampur, Ramban, Doda Himachal Pradesh: Chamba, Kanga, Patiala, Sangrur Heaval Rains.
