36 -wour -meeting, 4 Naxalite stacks, weapons and other objects seized in Gadchiroli

Gadchiroli, May 23 (IANS). The Gadchiroli police at the border of Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh have achieved great success. Police killed four Naxalites in a fierce meeting for 36 hours, including three Dalm commander Rank Maoists and a senior framework. The Maharashtra government declared a reward of Rs 14 Lakh on this. According to information received from police sources, some Maoist was collected at the recently established police station Kavande under the Bhamragarh subdivision and an ambush for the purpose of carrying out the destructive activities. Based on this confidential information, 12 teams performed special operations of the Gadchiroli Police Force led by additional superintendent of the Police (Administration) M. Ramesh and a team of CRPF 113 Battalion a joint operation. It was reported that Kavande and D Company of Nalgunda were sent immediately on Thursday afternoon to run an anti -Mhaoist campaign in the area along the Indravati River. Against the dense forest and bad weather, the team reached the said forest area at about 7am on Friday. While the policy team did a search operation, the Maoists hiding in the bush began shooting indiscriminately with the aim of killing the soldiers and looting their weapons. Police called on the Maoists to surrender and surrender, but they did not surrender and attacked the police vigorously. The soldiers shot at the Maoists for retaliation and self -defense. As the police’s pressure increased, the Maoists used the dense forest and fled from the place. After the meeting that lasted about two hours, when the soldiers did a search operation in the said forest area, a total of 4 Maoists were found at the scene, including 2 men and 2 women.
