IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans defeated RCB by eight wickets, Butler and Rutherford played a bang

Bengaluru, April 3 (IANS). In the 14th match of IPL 2025, Wednesday, Gujarat Titans (GT) Royal Challengers defeated Bangalore (RCB) by eight wickets. In this match played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, RCB batted first and scored 169/8. In response, GT easily reached the target of 170 runs by losing only two wickets in 17.5 overs. The Gujarat Titans started chasing the target, where Joss Butler scored an unbeaten 73 runs in 39 balls with the help of five fours and six sixes. He had a significant 75 -run partnership for the second wicket with Sudarshan. Sudarshan scored 49 runs in 36 balls, including seven fours and a six. However, he became a victim of Josh Hazlewood in 13th place. After that, Butler shared an unwavering 63 -Run partnership for the third wicket with Sherfen Rutherford (18 not in 18 balls, one four, three sixes). Rutherford won GT by beating a six. Earlier, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill, 14, lost his wicket cheaply, he was discharged by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in third place. Earlier, RCB scored 169 for eight wickets in 20 overs after losing the throw. Liam Livingstone batted brilliantly and completed the half -century by scoring 54 runs in 40 balls, including a four and five sixes. Mohammad Siraj took the most three wickets for GT.
