IRCTC has canceled Muzaffarpur-Anand vihar train charts, passengers stranded
On Saturday, chaos-tafri and anger broke out at the Muzaffarpur intersection when passengers with a confirmed IRCTC ticket learned that their train had been canceled. Special train from Muzaffarpur to Anand Vihar, Delhi 05219, IRCTC Portal did not run, despite the continuation of online tickets. Until a month ago, this train ran daily, and it was made weekly. After the decision of a Railway Board, it was closed again on September 20, and a formal letter was issued on November 4, 2024. Tickets sales at the booking banks stopped, but e-tickets still released on the IRCTC website, causing passengers to be confused. Hundreds of passengers coming from Sitamarhi, Shivhar and Aurai met at 1:30 pm on platform number four in the hope of leaving the train. The troubled passengers explained the railway officials at the investigative bench. RPF and GRP staff eventually controls the situation. Station officials announced the cancellation at about 11am, but the passengers said they had unnecessary problems due to lack of updates on the National Railway Enquiry System (NTA). A passenger said: “If the cancellation is displayed online, we will not have to travel so far.” For explanation, an attempt was made to contact IrctC Public Relations Officer (Pro) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) UK Bhatia, but no response was received. Officials confirmed that the train would be canceled until October 17 and will run on seven dates between October 18 and 31, during which it will also last Saturday. Share this story -tags
