Women and Child Development Department (WCD) and police jointly carried out this operation. A WCD supervisor was sent for testing after she was found pregnant. As soon as he started the test, the police caught him. The accused and the middlemen involved in the entire operation fled. A major police operation was carried out in Morena on Friday. Police have busted an illegal sex determination center in Premnagar area. Police have arrested a public school student who took a sex determination test for money. A middleman was also involved in this, who is apparently still on the run. The police carried out this operation in collaboration with WCD. Center for fetal sex determination stalled. The WCD supervisor went to the accused and asked him to have the gender determination test done. He took Rs 7,000 and called the woman to Solanki petrol pump. From there, he took the woman on his scooter to the house of a woman named Mamta Kushwaha, 300 meters away. When the police caught him, he was going to do an ultrasound by applying gel to the woman’s stomach. Police recovered a portable ultrasound machine, gel, two bikes, Rs 7,000 and two mobile phones from the spot. Fetal sex determination of more than 50 pregnant women: This incident is related to the large difference in registered pregnancies and deliveries in Morena. Bindu Singhal, a member of the investigation team and medicine expert from Gwalior Civil Hospital, said that evidence of fetal gender determination was found from mobile and portable ultrasound machines.
