The vigilance team caught him Red Handed to take bribes of Rs 15,000. The particular thing is that Ashwini Panda was the topper of the 2019 Odisha Administrative Service Exam. Remove the ad, just read the news, last Friday, in the vigilance action, Tehsildar Panda, along with his office manager P. Praveen Kumar, was also arrested. Both were produced in Sambalpur Special Vigilance Court, from where they were sent to judicial detention after the bail squares were rejected. According to vigilance sources laid on the complaint, Vicky Nayak, a Bamra resident, applied to turn his agricultural land into a residential category. But Tehsildar Panda first demanded 20 thousand rupees for this work. After expressing Vicky’s inability when the amount was high, the Tehsildar reduced the bribe to 15 thousand and clearly said that the work would not go forward without paying money. As helpless, Vicky complained to vigilance. After this, Thursday, vigilance laid a trap and caught the Tehsildar -red -handed bribe. After the strict arrest of the government, the government issued an order to suspend Tehsildar Ashwini Panda, with a difficult stance on corruption. At the same time, the Vigilance Department is pursuing further investigation into the whole case.
