New -delhi, June 21 (IANS). On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, the Isha Foundation organized free yoga sessions for more than 10,000 defense staff across the country. Under this campaign, more than 11,000 trained “yoga heroes” have arranged over 2,500 yoga sessions across India. Sadhguru Sannidhi, Bangalore, was the largest program, in which more than 5,000 staff of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF and NCC participated. In addition, more than 1,000 citizens related to the surrounding communities have also participated. According to Isha Foundation, 1,500 defense staff did yoga in Siganganagar (Rajasthan). 900 Air Force staff participated in Jodhpur Airbase in yoga. About 500 soldiers participated in Pune, 400 soldiers did yoga in Jaigarh Fort (Jaipur). More than 200 Air Force, Army soldiers attended Coimbatore (Adiyogi site). Isha Foundation also organized yoga sessions in well -known businesses and institutions such as IIT Chennai, HDFC Bank, IBM, Godrej, L&T, HDFC Life Insurance and Yes Bank, which favored thousands of professionals. The 7 -minute “Miracle of Mind”, designed by Sadhguru, raises the awareness of mental health among youth and professionals. More than 2000 young ambassadors have spread this initiative across the country. On this occasion, Sadhguru said on social media platform X: “Yoga is a system that gives you the freedom to create life with conscious options, a life that is not in bondage of thoughts.
