It is my honor to salute the Indian Police through 'Mardaani': Rani Mukherjee

Mumbai, October 21 (IANS). On the occasion of ‘Indian Police Day’, actress Rani Mukherjee saluted the unwavering courage and tireless dedication of the police force. She will soon be seen playing the role of a police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy in ‘Mardaani 3’. He said it is an honor for me to salute the policemen through my film ‘Mardaani’. Rani Mukherjee said in an interview, “It is an honor for me to salute the Indian police force through my film ‘Mardaani’, and I look forward to every possible opportunity to salute the hard work of the police across the country, and for this I look forward to working with as many people as possible.” Rani further said, “Policemen in every corner of our country protect people, risk their lives and sacrifice their personal time to keep us safe. The work our country’s police force has done for us cannot be expressed in words.” On Indian Police Day, Rani said, “She salutes the unflinching courage, tireless dedication and selfless service of the Indian Police Force, which ensures protection and justice to every citizen of India. We must never forget that behind the uniform is a person who has chosen the path of good, the path of selfless service and decided that the nation comes first. We must never forget that they are also, mother, wife and wife.” Rani said, “What a policeman does is exemplary. They leave their homes without any security. They face dangerous crimes and criminals like lions. I am amazed to see their patience and courage, and their lives inspire me to live fearlessly.
