Spain: Freezing US Customs duties open the door for negotiation
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that US President Donald Trump’s decision to freeze a round of international customs duties could be an ‘opening of a door for negotiation’, and that it could therefore lead to an agreement. Sanchez said on Thursday during his visit to Vietnam during his talk with a business forum that his country is the decision to impose customs duties “unjustified, unjustified and harmful to all.” He also repeated the statements made in the Southeast Asian country yesterday, Wednesday, and that no one wins in the trade war. US President Donald announced the suspension of customs duties for a period of 90 days that affected dozens of commercial partners, while customs duties on China increased to 125%. Sanchez then goes to China and becomes the first European Prime Minister to meet President Xi Jinping since Trump announced the new customs tariffs last week.
