Jaipur Hospital Analysis: Announcement of Compensation of Rs 10 Lakh to the families of 8 deceased

Jaipur, October 6 (IANS). The Rajasthan government announced a remuneration of Rs 10 Lakh on Monday for the families of the eight dead for the families of the eight deceased who lost their lives in the fierce fire in the Neuro Icu -Wyk in the trauma center of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur. All the dead include patients. Initial investigation revealed the fire due to the short circuit of the fire department. The fire was erected in a storeroom next to the neuro ICU, where documents, ICU equipment and blood sample tubes were placed. At the time of the accident, 11 patients treated the ICU, while 13 patients were in a nearby section. According to the nodal officer of the hospital and senior doctors, rescue operations were started immediately, but eight patients could not be saved. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families to the post. After the incident, the victims’ families conducted a protest march against Rs 50 Lakh compensation and demanded a government work for each condolences. Discussions between senior officials and family members, including Minister of State Instrument for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, police commissioner Biju George Joseph and district collector Jitendra Soni lasted seven hours for seven hours. After this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma later announced financial assistance of Rs 10 Lakh to the family of each deceased. The chief minister said: “The state government stands firmly with robbed families.” A committee of six members has been compiled for the cause and liability of the incident, which will soon investigate and send a report to the government. After the accident, the team of the forensic science laboratory gathered evidence of the place.
