Jakarta Provincial Government promotes ecotourism through the Jakarta Ecotourism Festival

Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Tourism and Creative Economy Department, is holding the Jakarta Ecotourism Festival 2025. This activity is one of the main programs of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Department that aims to promote ecotourism locations in the capital Jakarta to become the people’s choice when traveling. Jakarta Ecotourism Festival 2025 Series of Activities The Jakarta Ecotourism Festival 2025 consists of three main series of activities, namely Mainland Tour, Island Tour and Outbound, which offer interesting and refreshing ecotourism experiences in various areas of Jakarta. 1. Ecotourism Mainland – One Day Tour In this activity, participants will visit leading ecotourism-based tourist destinations in five areas of Jakarta; Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta and North Jakarta. This activity will be conducted in the form of an environmentally friendly one-day tour, accompanied by a professional tour guide who will provide education regarding nature conservation, local culture and sustainable tourism practices. 2. Island Ecotourism – 2 Days 1 Night Trip Two days and one night tour to Jakarta archipelago ecotourism destinations (Batumera, Payung Island), accompanied by a professional guide with educational experiences about marine ecosystems, local culture and sustainable tourism. Participants will also be invited to participate in preserving the beauty of the environment in the Seribu Islands, DKI Jakarta Province in mangrove planting and coral plant activities.
