Jakarta – Flooding continues to inundate Jalan Raya Kaligawe, Pantura Route, which connects Semarang City with Demak Regency, Central Java, this morning. The water height reaches 30 to 70 cm. As reported by the Antara news agency, Thursday (23/10/2025), a number of motorcycles appeared to have broken down as they were forced to pass. In addition, many workers from the Semarang City area went to Demak or vice versa, riding in open trucks moving through the flood waters. Rismanto appealed to road users from Semarang City going to Demak Regency or vice versa to take an alternative route. He advised road users to take the alternative route on Onggorawe, Demak Regency, going to Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, Semarang City.
