Jakarta – Prosecutors charged Febri Arifin alias Ari alias Jamet, who is accused of murdering a mother, Tjong Sioe Lan alias Enci (59) and her child, Eka Serlawati (35), whose bodies were found in a water reservoir in Tambora, West Jakarta, with life imprisonment. The prosecutor believes that Jamet was found guilty of violating Section 339 of the Penal Code. According to the prosecutor, the accused also carried out this act with preparation before committing the crime. “The accused Febri Arifin alias Ari alias Kakang alias Jamet alias Bebeb alias Kris Maryoto sentenced to life imprisonment,” he continued. The beginning of the case Jamet and the victim were known as neighbors. This man, also known as the alias Kakang alias Bebep alias Krismartoyo, is known to have a debt of IDR 90 million to the victim. Jamet owed the victim since 2021 and was not repaid until the victim was finally killed. Until one day Jamet deceived the victim by claiming to be a spiritual shaman who could cure diseases. Jamet also admitted that he had a friend named Kakang, a money-making shaman. He also admitted that he had a friend named Krismartoyo as a shaman who could find a mate for Enci’s first child, Eka. Jamet’s fraud tricked the victim into asking him to double the money. Until finally, on March 1, 2025, Jamet came to the victim’s house as if he wanted to perform a shamanic ritual to find a partner and also to double his money. However, it was all just Jamet’s trick. Instead of helping the victim, Jamet killed both of them and then Rp. 50 million belonging to the victim. This case came to light after Enci’s second child, a man named Ronny, made a missing persons information report on behalf of his mother and older brother. The report was submitted by Ronny on March 3, 2025, after he failed to contact the two of them for 2×24 hours. From the results of CCTV investigation to witness statements, it was revealed.
