Jammu, September 26 (IANS). The government of Jammu and Kashmir made an important decision for the students who passed the bi -annual investigation of higher secondary Part II (12th). Sakina Itu, Minister of Education, Health and Medical Education, provided information on this by posting on the social media platform ‘X’ on Friday. Sakina Itu said that the admission process was started on the demand of the students in grade colleges for students who passed the higher secondary Part II exam. From September 29, these students are admitted to all degree colleges of JAMMU and Kashmir divisions, so that their academic year is not wasted. He posted on ‘X’ and wrote: ‘We assured that the students who recently passed the higher secondary part II exam left the valuable time. As of September 29, the admission process will begin in the degree colleges of both divisions. ‘ This decision is a great relief for thousands of students who were concerned about admission to the university due to the delay. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBose) recently declared the results of biennial exams, after which the students demanded quick admission. A senior education department official said this step was taken to arrange the academic session and secure the future of the students. Guidelines were issued to all degree colleges to smooth the admission process. Students will need to apply in colleges with their documents and allowed on merit base. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has made several reforms in the education sector over the past few years, including the development of digital learning and infrastructure. This decision is also considered an important step in the same direction. The Department of Education called on the colleges to complete the admission process in a transparent and time -bound manner.
