The fire department controlled the fire within three hours, but by that time there was a lot of damage. Police are investigating the case and try to find out the cause of the fire. Jagran Correspondent, Jammu. Lakhs of rupees were lost due to fire under suspicious circumstances in a car workshop in the Calika Colony of the Bagh-E-Bahu police station of the city. The fire was so strong that two vehicles kept in the workshop, and many precious parts were completely burned. The incident happened around 2am on Saturday. Local people saw the strong flames and smoke from within the workshop and immediately notified the fire and emergency services. As the workshop had fuel and flammable materials of vehicles, the fire spread quickly. There was chaos in the houses and shops built in the area. Once the information was received, four fire and emergency services reached the place and the fire was controlled after almost three hours of effort. FSL gave evidence of the Spot Sho Bagh-E-Bahu Ashwini Kumar that the exact cause of the fire is being investigated. According to preliminary investigation, the fire is under suspicious circumstances. The team of forensic science laboratory (FSL) was called on the spot to gather evidence. Due to late night, no eyewitness was found of the incident. Police registered a case and began investigation. According to the staff of the fire department and emergency services, the fire caused the fire from four to five lakhs loss of about four to five lakh calls. He said four fire tenders were deployed to control the fire and that the team was trying to prevent the fire from spreading in the nearby residential area. At the moment, the police are trying to figure out the cause of the fire and the workshop operator is also being questioned. It is thought to be mainly caused by the short circuit or negligence of man, but the police have begun to investigate to keep all aspects in mind.
