Minister of Development Kapil Mishra held a high meeting on the problem of fatal animals in Delhi. The meeting discussed the establishment of animal assistance and the development of infrastructure in the registration of improvement agencies in animal birth constraints programs. Delhi Development Minister Kapil Mishra was chairman of a high -level meeting at the secretariat to deal with the increasing problems of needy animals in the national capital. The meeting was particularly focused on the management and well -being of needy dogs. The meeting was attended by the Veterinary Department of Municipal Corporation, and senior officials of the Development Department, as well as representatives of various NGOs and animal birth constraints (ABC). Former MP and famous animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi also attended the meeting and shared important proposals based on her experience. The meeting discussed the need for the necessary structural reforms in the implementation of animal birth constraints. A major concern was that meetings of ABC committees were not held regularly. There is also no standardized process for the implementation agencies. The minister emphasized the need to make registration and recognition of all agencies compulsory. Proposals also suggested that proposals such as the distribution of zone-wise to ABC responsibilities, implementing rules for monitoring pets and stores, and creating an organ scoring team for auditing sterilization results. There was also a proposal to install a centralized animal helpline, which is useful for correcting emergency situations and complaints. To maintain cleanliness around ABC centers and public nutritional areas, there was also a discussion on setting up clear guidelines of garbage disposal and the marking of specific nutritional locations. An important theme of the meeting was the development of the infrastructure of ABC centers. The NGO expressed the need to set up separate and quarantine cheat for infected or recovery of animals. He emphasizes the need for structured veterinarians, handlers, para-veteran and program managers to increase the effectiveness of sterilization and vaccination processes. At the meeting, the officials were proposed that the monitoring system should be reinforced for the effective implementation of ABC rules. It has also been said that each ABC center must have a nominated management committee, which must ensure transparency and accountability. Regular reports of sterilization, vaccination and animal care activities are needed to submit and review them with the relevant departments. It was also proposed at the meeting that all persons involved in this process, such as dog catcher, NGO worker and government official are trained in human and scientifically certified methods. It has also been said that compassion and sensitivity should be included mandatory in each intervention. After the meeting, Kapil Mishra said: “This is the question of the hour to make such a model that will ensure the well -being of animals, support the needy animals, listen to the worries of animal lovers, as well as the general public should have no inconvenience implemented in mission mode.”
