Jharkhand BJP leader shot dead in the daylight in Ranchi, arrested accused after police meeting

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anil Tiger was shot dead in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, on Wednesday. He was a former member of the Zilla Parishad. The incident happened at Kanke Chowk in the city, where criminals shot Tiger in broad daylight and escaped from the place. After receiving the information, police reached the place and took Anil Tiger to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. After the incident, police campaigned and after the meeting an accused arrested in the case. SSP Ranchi said: “One of the accused in the murder of BJP leader Anil Tiger was arrested after the meeting. He was shot in the thigh. After his identification, the police teams started chasing him. He started shooting to see the police team. He started shooting. The senior official said: “The investigation into the murder is underway.” Political reactions to the incident by BJP leaders and activists responded strongly to this brutal murder, which raised protests and slogans against the state government led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Many political personalities have emerged to condemn the weakened law and order in Jharkhand, in which the criticism of the chief minister of Hemant Soren increases. BJP Mla Naveen Jaiswal condemned the Jharkhand government, saying that since the government of Hemant Soren was formed in Jharkhand, criminal activity has increased. Jaiswal said: “Since his government was founded in Jharkhand, criminal activity has increased.
