Jharkhand: Naxalite -pair wanted to be surrendered in several incidents in Giridih

Giridih, October 8 (IANS). CPI (Maoist) Naxalite Shivlal Hembram Alias ​​Shiva and his wife Sarita Hansda alias Urmila, wanted to be surrendered in several incidents on Wednesday before senior police and administration officials in the Giridih district of Jharkhand. According to police, Shivlal Hembram (25 years) is a resident of the Tesaphhuli town of the Madhuban police station and was active in the organization as a member of the committee member. His wife Sarita Hansda (19 years), is a resident of the Chatro village of the Khukhra police station and was a member of the Naxalite group. According to police, a total of 11 cases related to the Murder, Explosion, Uapa and Arms Act against Shivlal are registered in Giridih, Dumri, Khukhra, Madhuban, Chatrochatti and Jageshwar Vihar police station. In many Naxalite cases, firs are also registered against Sarita. Shivlal was associated with the Maoist organization in the year 2017. He is the bodyguard of the Maoist commander Karam da alias Vivek, with a reward of Rs 1 crore. In the year 2022 he was promoted to the post of member of the committee member. According to police, he was involved in many Naxalite activities such as hiding explosives and weapons, collecting levy from residents and attacking police forces. Sarita Hansda joined the Naxalite Organization in 2020. She was recruited by the female Maoist Jaya in the organization. In the year 2024, Sarita and Shivlal were married while in the organization. According to police, the organization’s top commanders, both decided to leave the organization. Police in Giridih were constantly in contact with the family members of both and motivated them to surrender. After surrendering, both benefits will receive under the state government rehabilitation policy.
