Jagran Correspondent, Lohardaga. On the Lohardaga-Bandara road, a rural youth was swept away in a strong flow of water in the Barhi Bridge on the Bhokta River. Local villagers from Bhandara saved and rescued a young man who flowed in the river. Local villagers saved the young man trapped in a strong stream and took one hour out of the river, while the motorcycle stayed in the river itself. It is said that water flowed eight feet above the Bhokta River Bridge, in which rural youth was swept away with a motorcycle. The Bhandara police station in -Charge Arvind Singh with the social activists of Bhandra, Aftab Alam, Shakeeel Ahmed, Sartaj Ansari, Feroz Ansari rescued and evacuated the young man trapped in a strong stream. While the young man’s motorcycle number JH08J 9760 is still stuck in the river water. The Bhandara police station in -Charge Arvind Singh said that Raj Prakash Prasad (25 years), the son of Naveen Prasad, resident of Lohardaga, returned to his home in Lohardaga on Friday morning. During this time, he did not get an idea of the flow of water in the Barhi bridge. In which he was swept away in the river to cross the bridge. After the residents received information, the residents acted quickly and tried to save the young man by approaching the social worker of Bhandra’s social worker. In which Sartaj Ansari, Aftab Alam, Shakeeel Ahmed, Feroz Ansari tied a rope in their waist and wiped away forty feet from the bridge and captured a young man safely. The river is in free condition from the flow of water. Raj Prakash Prasad said there was no possibility that water flood was in the bridge. Eight fitting water came up from the bridge. In which he was successful in saving his life by standing up the bike. It was a commendable effort by the Bhandara police station in Arvind Singh and the local rescue team. Shakeel Ahmed of the rescue team said he, after receiving the information about the incident, reached the place within five minutes. After this, with the help of villagers, it was successful to vacate the young man safely.
