Jharkhand: The center and state will solve the challenges of the mining sector, the solution will be found together, the consent in the high -level meeting
Ranchi, September 12 (IANS). A high-level meeting was held in the presence of the Minister of Coal and Mine, Kishan Reddy and CM Hemant Soren, on Friday night on important issues related to coal and mining sector in Jharkhand. During this time, it was agreed to resolve the challenges and disputes in the mining sector. Senior officials of the state government, coal ministry and subsidiary units of Coal India present at the meeting discussed several important topics related to coal mines. The chief minister, although favoring the state government, said that the solution to the challenges in the mining sector is only possible with the mutual support of the central and state government. He said that all parties would have to make efforts to take the mining sector forward and resolve the disputes associated with it. The meeting was discussed in detailed discussions such as royalties about minerals, land acquisition for coal mines, remuneration to ridingotte and jobs, rehabilitation of displaced areas in which mining is completed, topics such as land repayment, employment to locals, control over illegal mining accidents and the following of the safety standards. In addition, it was also agreed to solve the better use of DMFT and CSR funds and the solution of bottlenecks that come to the operation of coal projects. Union Reddy Minister Reddy judged the chief minister on the priorities and current challenges of the center on mining projects. At the same time, the chief minister gave the assurance that the state government would take positive steps with the center to protect transparency and local interests in the mining sector.
